This matters because inclusion brings innovation and engagement, people will feel valued and empowered.</p><p></p><p><b>General Job Requirements:</b></p><p></p><p>Reporting to the RTR Senior Manager, Global Financial Solutions (GFS), we are seeking a highly skilled accountant with experience in the preparation and review of Financial Statements in a fast paced multinational environment. The role is central to ensuring compliance with IFRS and other local statutory requirements as well as supporting the co-ordination of activities across multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate filing.</p><p></p><p><b>Job duties include:</b></p><ul><li><p>Preparation and review of statutory financial statements for multiple entities within a fast paced multinational environment</p></li><li><p>Contributing to the continued development and expansion of the centralized financial statement function.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, Companies Act and other regulatory obligations</p></li><li><p>Monitor changes in accounting standards across jurisdictions and ensure implementation of best practices</p></li><li><p>Lead and co-ordinate activities of multiple stakeholders within agreed timelines</p></li><li><p>The development of strong relationships with key stakeholders.  </p></li><li><p>Ability to quickly establish credibility with and influence diverse audiences.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Contribution to the definition and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the establishment of a continuous improvement culture</p></li><li><p>Interacts successfully with internal and external auditors and supports quarter-end, interim and year-end audits by providing timely and accurate data and communication.</p></li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and different cultures</p></li><li><p>Review of VAT &amp; Intrastat calculations per VAT registration and oversight of related filings</p></li><li><p>Ability to travel is necessary.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Knowledge, experience, competencies:</b></p><ul><li><p>Qualified Chartered Accountant or person with an equivalent accountancy qualification with a strong track record in the area of preparation and review of financial statements across multiple jurisdictions</p></li><li><p>Ca
