C‑STORE SUPERVISOR – Harrah’s Laughlin

The C‑Store Supervisor oversees the operation, workflow, and team members of the Convenience Store. This leader ensures exceptional customer service, protects company assets, and drives revenue while managing expenses and maintaining a positive, productive work environment.

• Lead with positivity, energy, and reliability—ensuring Family Style Service is delivered by you and your team
• Provide excellent internal and external guest service, setting the tone for the department
• Manage daily store operations, assign tasks, and communicate essential information to team members
• Actively promote merchandise sales and coach the team to maximize revenue
• Support cash register operations, including counting change, maintaining an accurate cash drawer, and authorizing returns/exchanges per policy
• Assist with training, coaching, and onboarding new and existing employees
• Conduct audits, service observations, and complete assigned performance evaluations
• Monitor labor hours and adjust staffing based on business needs
• Replenish merchandise, maintain stock levels, and ensure all supplies are available for team use
• Receive and distribute daily shipments with a high level of accuracy
• Ensure asset protection standards are followed by all Retail team members
• Assist with store inventories and preparation work as scheduled
• Maintain strong working relationships with managers, peers, associates, vendors, and corporate retail partners
• Troubleshoot and assist with all department equipment (registers, phones, calculators, ticketing guns)
• Complete all paperwork, reports, and assigned projects accurately and on time
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards on the sales floor and in storage 

• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Health and Alcohol Awareness Card
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Accuracy in money handling and adherence to company policies
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift up to 25 lbs.; push/pull up to 40 lbs.
• Bend, stoop, twist, reach, and maintain dexterity for tools and equipment
• Walk or stand for long periods or entire shift
• Navigate stairs and confined spaces
• Work in hot, cold, noisy, or secondhand‑smoke environments
• Maintain accuracy in money/chip handling
• Comfortable with guest interaction
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Sit for extended periods when required
