JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Berks Food Services is seeking organized and motivated employees, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. Hours are Saturday, 1:45 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:45 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. with a starting rate of $12.00/hour.

Job Duties

  • Handle credit or campus dining dollar transactions with customers.

  • Scan goods and collect payments.

  • Stock shelves, freezers, and coolers, unloading deliveries.

  • Ensure pricing is correct.

  • Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets.

  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.

  • Greet customers when entering or leaving establishment.

  • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Basic math knowledge

  • Communication

  • Customer service

  • Efficiency

  • Attention to detail

  • Basic knowledge of point of sales system
