The Opportunity
As the Access Strategy Leader in Diagnostics Global Access & Policy (GA&P) you will be part of the Access Strategy Chapter and will be responsible for co-creating integrated global access strategies to maximize the value and access of our pipeline and overall portfolio.
Job Facts
Act as Global Access & Policy functional partner in Life Cycle Management
Define, lead, oversee and manage multiple strategic access projects across assigned lifecycle team(s) to ensure the highest quality, relevant, on-time and within budget deliverables.
Lead a disease area Pod within GA&P, and the development of global access strategies.
Act as an integrated member of International Business Team(s) and SQUAD(s) and on all elements related to the overall strategy for a product/solution/disease program, influencing and advocation for an “Access by Design” mindset across the Roche Diagnostics.
Work closely with your GA&P counterparts, regions, affiliates and key internal stakeholders to deliver access strategies as a part of the integrated product strategy that leads to rapid, broad and sustainable access.
Interact and closely collaborate with the RDS/RIS leaders to ensure the priority products are considered within the global access strategy as appropriate.
Co-create access materials and outputs which incorporate diverse stakeholder perspectives such as HTA bodies, payers, policy makers, governments and patients to successfully support reimbursement submission and Access processes globally.
Apply expertise to develop and embed access strategy and project management capabilities from exploratory research throughout the product development cycle.
Collaborate with GA&P functions (Evidence Generation, Health Systems Policy, Strategic Pricing & Contracting and Access Engagement Chapters) to drive access product strategy, to deliver key insights/materials needed to support the integrated strategy, to shape the co-creation of the evidence plan, to develop Access capabilities at global, regional and affiliate levels and to deploy Access solutions at the regional and affiliate level.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, health economics, life sciences, public health, public policy, marketing or a related discipline; MBA or other Graduate or higher-level Degree in science, business or a related discipline is preferred
6 or more years of access experience in the diagnostic or related industry. Multidisciplinary experience working in a variety of functions within and beyond Access is preferred
Significant experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a matrix team environment; strong, existing relationships with key healthcare systems, decision-makers and influencers; significant consulting/project work experience in access is strongly preferred
Experience at both affiliate and global levels and a mix of experience in developing and developed markets is strongly preferred
Ability to work in a matrix organization and lead diverse teams to achieve common goals with a track record of effective strategic decision-making.
Ability to understand complex scientific issues and effectively translating these into effective access and business strategies
Capabilities to deliver impactful messages / strategic recommendations and to negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders internally and externally
Deep knowledge of the Access landscape and healthcare archetypes (in depth knowledge of key markets such as EU4, the UK, Brazil, China and the US is an advantage)
Agile leadership skills (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) to motivate and lead a diverse multicultural team is essential
Ability to see the big picture and give strategic direction as well as to provide more granularity when exchanging with a wide range of access experts.
