Your Opportunity: ComplyRight, a Taylor company, is looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring our subscription-based products and supporting technologies meet current customer needs while aligning with our future vision. To help you achieve your goals, you will work collaboratively with a diverse in-house team of product, creative, sales, marketing and technology development experts.

This is a hybrid role based in Pompano Beach, FL - allowing up to three days of work-from-home per week.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of our technology infrastructure, platforms, frameworks and the products/services they support.
  • Actively participate in planning and recommending future enhancements to infrastructure, platforms, frameworks and technical aspects of products.
  • Stay abreast of strategic business goals and how they impact technology roadmaps and priorities.
  • Organize and participate in strategic roadmap discussions and maintain roadmap up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders and technical experts to gather and refine requirements, resolve ambiguities, document specifications, prioritize features, and recommend efficient implementation approaches that ensure long-term scalability and minimize technical debt.
  • Participate in sales meetings as subject matter expert on technical capabilities and possible approaches to custom solution design.
  • Ask insightful questions to ensure solution design considers potential long-term applications and opportunities.
  • Lead critical development projects involving complex database architecture and system integrations.
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and manage related backlogs; break down epics and features into smaller, manageable tasks for development team.
  • Facilitate communication between development team and business stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business terms and vice versa.
  • Work with QA resources to ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria and quality standards.
  • Stay abreast and advise business leadership of new technology advancements and competitor moves that could impact business decisions, roadmap priorities and development approaches.
  • Complete other related duties and tasks as assigned.


You Must Have:

  • Degree in computer science, IT, software/website development, or related discipline, or equivalent technical training/experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar or closely related role.
  • Deep understanding of software development processes, agile/SCRUM methodologies and relational database design/architecture.
  • Proficient in wireframing and query building.
  • Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Able to analyze complex technical issues and identify practical solutions.
  • Curious and inquisitive strategic thinker.
  • Team player adept at working collaboratively with multi-discipline teams.
  • Excellent project management, time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for customers.


We Would Also Prefer:

  • Experience with subscription-based services in a B2B environment.
