Job Description

Food Service Specialist II

About the Position: The Food Service Specialist II is responsible for preparing and serving meals for our inpatient and residential facilities. This position is located in Woodward, OK at our Lighthouse Services. At this level, employees will use items for cooking and baking; cutting and preparing meat, poultry, or fish; frying or roasting foods. Position is also responsible for the direction of others performing simple and routine duties involving the handling and serving food and maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.

• Full-time
• Primary Working Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm / 9:30 am - 6:30 pm
• Annual Salary - $32,500.00
• Number of Vacancies - 1(one)
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Qualifications: Requirements at this level consist of one year of experience in commercial or institutional food service or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of vocational or technical school training in food preparation for the required experience.

NCBH provides excellent treatment to all of Northwestern Oklahoma. We are licensed and Joint Commission accredited since 1974. We provide complete mental health and substance abuse services for the individuals of Northwest Oklahoma in our outpatient offices, residential substance abuse program and our inpatient psychiatric unit.

Special Requirements:  

• Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background. 

• Must possess a US driver’s license to perform job related travel if necessary.  

• Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs.  Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result. 

• Applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds, 20 pounds frequently and be able to push and pull a maximum force of 50 pounds. 

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
