The Director of Customer Supply Chain Team drives the successful execution of continuous improvement operational solutions that support Chobani’s sales & supply growth objectives. As the partner to our Customer Headquarter Sales Leadership teams, this role will deliver strong connectivity with our key Customers to ensure the delivery of sales & supply objectives and works with cross functional teams to effectively implement sustainable and cost-effective supply chain processes with our customers.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading a team of direct reports (including remote) in the execution of customer solutions set strategies and plans for East/West accounts
- Lead collaborative relationships with business unit leadership teams to manage & execute customer projects & initiatives
- Execute against all assigned customer score carding to enhance & drive forward
- Evolve and implement our Customer Supply Chain strategy to achieve sales and distribution objectives in all assigned channels
- Leverage, train and manage Customer Supply Chain team to grow and manage business, while identifying new cost savings opportunities with our customers
- Identify opportunities and key strategic initiatives that will drive increased sales and profitability within Customer Supply Chain
- Acts as both a Commercial subject matter expert as well as a project manager for key operational projects on cross-functional teams
- Anticipate customer problems and future trends, assesses opportunities, impacts and risks while developing and implementing solutions to meet enhanced customer growth
- Help revise and execute routines and process to proactively manage product supply followed by implementation of action steps to resolve them
- Develop reports and scorecards to communicate key business metrics and performance to influence the implementation of actions
- Recognize trends and steward back to internal and external partners, in order to influence strategy and development of the initiatives
- Provide internal partners with insights and perspective on customer’s operating model and how to improve Chobani’s supply performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or years of experience in combination with education
- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience with CPG sales analytics as well as a strong understanding of the customer facing supply chain function
- Minimum 5 years prior people management experience
- Proven track record of coaching and development leading teams
- In depth/proven understanding of forecasting and inventory management within Customer Supply Chain is required
- Perishable replenishment experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build meaningful and impactful internal/external relationships that translate into business strategy and results
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills; with focus on Excel
- Exposure to SAP BI preferred
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment that impacts multiple functions
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and ad hoc requests while applying innovative thinking to drive solutions
- Must be attentive to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit is a must
