Our ADAS team brings together expertise in automated driving, computer science and vehicle connectivity. With our partner NVIDIA, we are developing software and AI-powered driver assistance systems, autonomous driving solutions, as well as connected services for future vehicles.</p> <p> </p> <p>We are looking for an individual who has very good experience in development customer features within Model Based Development using Matlab/Simulink, while possessing strong expertise in C++ programming.</p> <p> </p> <p>This exciting and equally stimulating role offers the opportunity to join a critical area within the business. You will be one of the first to experience the latest ADAS and autonomous driving systems first-hand.</p> <p> </p> <p>Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Actively develop and write code for new functions and features which will be applied in prototypes and in series cars.</p> </li> <li> <p>Responsible for the development of new applications which include (decision) features, tracking and fusion focused towards interior sensing.</p> </li> <li> <p>Providing clear software architecture and solid software design as well as good software quality will be the basis of your daily work.</p> </li> <li> <p>Your work will be based on system requirements which will be transferred into software requirements, followed by the design and implementation of your code.</p> </li> <li> <p>Cooperation with several partners and stakeholders in order to achieve the best integration of all components.</p> </li> <li> <p>Test of the implementation on simulations, the hardware and in the targeted product/ prototype vehicles. This also includes regular test drives for you as a developer in order to get the real customer feeling in our high-quality products.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What You’ll Need</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Test driven development experience with a strong knowledge of C / C++ and Matlab.</p> </li> <li> <p>Extensive knowledge in automotive sensors with camera and radar and ideally knowledge in fusions and tracking.</p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledge of Interior sensing features (i.e, driving monitoring system, facial recognition, fatigue detection) would be a plus.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with active developing of software in the area or interior sensing and adaptive Autosar is a big plus.</p> </li> <li> <p>Agile experienced individual who possesses good analytical skills and is able to stay resilient and enthusiastic through challenges and constructive feedback.</p> </li> <li> <p>The role requires an individual who is creative and can think laterally to expand and develop JLR technology across ADAS.</p> </li> </ul> <p>SO WHY US?</p> <p>Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, membership of a competitive pension plan and private medical cover.
