The Business Management Analyst for the Trust Company provides support to NTC Management with a direct reporting line to the Fiduciary Operations Manager. The individual will have responsibility to develop and implement strategic projects that shape the business, data mining and database management, creating and maintaining information matrices to be used as Trust Company training and resource materials. The Business Management Analyst will participate in risk and systems-related projects and enhancements through all phases including defining requirements, testing, and implementation. They will also support other core compliance projects as needed. The Business Management Analyst analyzes key data points and metrics to identify process improvements. Once identified, the analyst recommends solutions, drafts business requirements, and participates in implementation. They serve as a resource for trust administrators and trust officers in all offices for troubleshooting and operational efficiency questions. The analyst also assists with coordinating and conducting training sessions. The trust analyst represents the Trust Companies in LoB task forces and project planning meetings. They gather requirements and attends meetings; ultimately presenting results of meetings to NTC Management for review and decision.
Business Process & Systems Excellence
- Support all phases of strategic projects including requirements gathering, UAT testing, and implementation (off-hours production check-outs)
- Complete data mining and data migration projects, as needed
- Collect business metrics and assist with process improvement development for processes owned by the group
- Conduct preliminary investigations related to all project requests
- Participate in root-cause analysis to recommend product enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve business processes
Administrative Risk Analysis
- Prepare workflow for family trees to be used in ongoing trust administration
- Compile and input account coding changes based on trust document review
- Assist with the preparation of materials for and participate in trust company training sessions
Business Partnership
- Assist with the preparation of risk-based reporting materials for presentations to senior management
- Support and participate in internal and external audits, as required
- Participate in various project and task forces as required
- Perform day-to-day administrative duties in support of the business
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related area
- Prior experience in Wealth Management, Business Management, or Project Management is a plus
- Excellent organization and project management skills
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex business problems
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, with emphasis on Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables) and PowerPoint
- Ability to map processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Experience at big 4 consulting firm or bulge-bracket financial institution is a plus
- Experience with SunGard Addvantage, Pivotal CRM, or other CRM system is a plus
- Experience with OLAP tools, e.g., Hyperion Explorer is a plus
