Business Operations Analyst- Defensive Line

Company Description

Reporting to the General Manager, you will provide strategic analysis and mission critical project management at the regional leadership level. You will analyze regional performance, develop strategies to help us identify new consumers, increase share, grow volume, and implement projects to capitalize on opportunities. You will take a leadership role in the development of high impact projects across all departments, ensuring agreement of deliverables and allocation of resources. You will develop relationships across all levels and geographies to maintain both the proper execution and the cultural pulse of the region.

Job Description

STRATEGIC ANALYSIS

Develop scorecards, trackers, tools, and reports that assist our Regional Leadership Team (Marketing, On Premise Sales, and Distribution) in assessing regional performance

Provide actionable insights through analyses of our goals and identification of drivers and detractors contributing to their success

Coordinate critical projects amongst functional departments to identify and close performance gaps and test strategic direction

Capture and communicate opportunity gaps to share with other teams

Lead long-term projects, establish project objectives, and track targets across all business segments and departments

Develop annual goals aligned with regional Directors and regional leadership.

Develop monthly analysis using retail sales data and present to region team and distribution network

Provide ad hoc analysis to support region

STRATEGIC PLANNING & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Provide leadership and support from project development to implementation including business case proposals, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, executing, and reporting results across Regional Leadership Team

Partner with project leaders to manage documentation and tracking of project milestones, schedules, and resource needs

Enhance project management methodologies ensuring that a streamlined process exists, and ensure that projects are implemented and delivered to meet standards.

Provide ad hoc project support

BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Guide collaboration and support performance at the department leadership level.

Work with department and regional leads to improve current business and role processes, and provide recommendations to leadership on improvements, automation, or new capability opportunities.

Be the subject matter expert on Regional Leadership Team for strategic analysis and project management

Establish and implement best practice reporting consisting of inputs from leadership team, resulting in learnings and actionable outputs

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in an analytical or project management role

Understanding of P&L, business drivers, and interactions

Analytic and business acumen

Experience or exposure to CPG industry

Understanding of business insights/category management principles

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
