About the role

This role requires a strategic thinker and a hands-on HR professional. The ideal candidate will manage and implement HR projects while also supporting day-to-day HR operations.

Core Functions
Project Management
• Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of HR projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports
• Measure project outcomes and report on ROI and effectiveness.

HR Generalist
• Serve as a key point of contact, providing guidance and support to employees and managers
• Escalate complex HR issues to the Director of HR or the Chief People Officer
• Coordinate annual training programs for all staff
• Administrator and product knowledge specialist of the Dayforce HRIS system
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents
• Assist with the annual performance management process
• Assist in various HR functions:

◦ Retention
◦ Timekeeping
◦ Reporting & Compliance
◦ Employee Engagement
◦ Administration
◦ Compensation and Benefits

Skills & Abilities
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects from concept to completion
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to be resourceful and work independently
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects from concept to completion
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience & Education
• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
• 3 - 5 years of experience in an HR and or Project Management Role

Technical Knowledge
• Proficiency with MS Office and Windows is required

Work Environment
The Company is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment. Other environment conditions:
• Extended evening and weekend work hours sometimes required; required to work home games; may have to work occasional holidays
• Stressful and demanding work environment in executing work on short deadlines
• Computer and desk work a significant part of daily activities
• Sitting, standing, working with hands for extended periods of time
• Rarely is lifting more than 20 pounds required
