As an Intern with Kyocera Document Solutions, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing our fulfillment solutions while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the logistics industry. You’ll have the opportunity to lead impactful projects and collaborate with industry professionals, contributing to our mission of being the Easiest Company to do Business With!

Responsibilities

+     Shadow the logistics support team at headquarters to observe and document end‑to‑end processes that enable daily distribution operations.

+     Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and manual workarounds within current logistics workflows.

+     Evaluate manual, paper-driven, and email‑dependent processes to determine opportunities for automation using rule‑based workflows, scripting, APIs, AI‑enabled tools, or other software solutions.

+     Analyze operational workflows to quantify cost, time, and labor impacts

+     Design, develop, test, and support the implementation of automated or digitized solutions aimed at reducing manual effort, error rates, cycle time, and operating cost.

+     Target improvement opportunities across logistics support functions, including but not limited to:

+       Carrier claim filing, tracking, and resolution

+       Freight invoice audit and variance resolution

+       Customer OS&D (Overage, Shortage, & Damage) claims management

+       Returns processing and disposition workflows.

+     Contribute innovative, technology‑driven solutions that improve process efficiency, data visibility, and workflow standardization across the logistics network.

+     Document and present findings, solution designs, and performance improvements.

Qualifications

Required:

+     Demonstrate a strong desire and enthusiasm to learn and grow within the logistics and supply chain domain.

+    Strong analytical mindset with interest in applying technology to real‑world operational problems.

+     Comfortable working with large datasets

+     Punctual and reliable

+    Exposure to WMS, TMS, ERP, or BI platforms (Hands‑on experience a plus).

+    Experience with Python, SQL, APIs, RPA tools, or low‑code automation platforms is beneficial.

 

The pay range for this role is $21.00/Hr.
