- Serves as the primary liaison between the College, its students, and alumni, and potential employers
- Responsible for fiscal planning and management for career services, including all operations and staffing matters.
- Serves as adviser and interfaces with representatives of industrial, governmental, and educational employers to assist in the most effective use of career services' efforts
- Develops new contacts with external organizations for the purpose of expanding employment opportunities for students and alumni
- Reviews and supervises the on-campus recruitment and interviewing processes as well as resume referral and job-listing services for current students as well as alumni
- Closely coordinates communication with Department Heads and other faculty to ensure that the career services department is meeting the needs and desires of the academic departments
- Provides career advising expertise to students and alumni regarding the job-search process, interviewing resume, and letter writing, and all other facets of career planning
- Conducts workshops, seminars, and other presentations to students, faculty, employers, and alumni groups
- Monitor and provide assistance to all departments as it pertains to compliance, licensure and accreditation
- Act as liaison with ABHES, ACCSC, CAAHEP, OBPVS, NATEF, Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering. Veterans Administration, Tribes, and the DOE
- Assure the college is knowledgeable in regulations regarding the program review and placement process
- Monitor and report findings and deficiencies in departments as it pertains to compliance
- Develops processes to ensure consideration of accountability measures and accreditations standards in the program process
- Implement, and review, the Campus Effectiveness Program in accordance with stated accountability measures and outcomes assessment pertaining to all aspects of Career Services compliance
- Monitor departmental and campus performance as it pertains to retention and placement
- Develop processes to link accountability measures with program effectiveness strategies
- Review processes as it relates to standards from program (MA, Clary Sage, ST, Auto) accrediting agencies (CAAHEP, ABHES, ACCSC, NATEF), ensure that program developments reflect changing standards
- Maintain application with WorkForce Oklahoma
- Conduct quarterly IPEDS reports ensuring accuracy of data reported
- Ensure admissions has the latest retention and placement data per latest annual report
- Ensure gainful employment disclosures are updated on website with the latest statistics
- Monitor adherence to FERPA
- Assist in the coordination of satisfaction survey administration
- Manage team of Career Services Representatives
- Attend all Graduation Ceremonies
- Other duties as assigned
