deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Staff Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description:

deciBel Research seeks an experienced Staff Software Engineer to support the Ground Based Midcourse (GMD) Weapon System (GWS). The successful candidate will support the GWS-GSS product team in Huntsville, AL.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM related field.

Experience Requirements:

• 9+ years of related experience with Bachelor's degree; 7+ years of related experience with Master's degree
• Experience developing software in C++ and Java

Special Skills Desired:

• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience with automated testing
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
• Experience with low level software to hardware interfaces
• Experience with CMake
• Experience with gRPC
• Security+ certification
• A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
