Job Description

This position is responsible for the coordination of fund mergers, liquidations, de-conversions, conversions and other events for the mutual fund clients on the Global Fund Services Transfer Agent.  As a project coordinator this role is responsible for the creation of project plans, communication with the fund clients and external transfer agents including the hosting of conference calls and written communications with all parties associated with the event.  Additional responsibilities include data analysis, project tracking and communication with internal business lines to obtain status updates.  This position will occasionally require weekend hours to coordinate the execution of the client events. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- One to two years of direct experience, or three to five years of related experiencePreferred Skills/Experience
- Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations
- Strong understanding and use of project management techniques and testing processes
- Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
- Good organizational and analytical skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a project team, with leadership and negotiation skills
- Thorough knowledge of a business line or function areaThe role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
