They are extremely valuable to the entire Picnic supply chain, without them our business couldn't continue to run smoothly.</p> <p>Our current team of two Payroll &amp; Benefits Specialists is seeking for another star to join the team due to our continuous growth. As our Senior Payroll &amp; Benefits Specialist you'll be co-responsible for the four-weekly hourly billing of our Shoppers, Runners &amp; Central teams and be responsible for managing all aspects of administering employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.</p> <p>In addition, you'll be co-responsible with the People team for the coordination &amp; execution of our benefits (lease bikes &amp; lease cars, topics involving international mobility, advising on our travel &amp; expense policies), and take over the communication with our payroll provider. You will work with various internal and external stakeholders and be part of the finance team.</p> <h2 id="🎯-what-youll-do">🎯 What you’ll do</h2> <ul> <li>Review, approval and control of four-weekly salary payments</li> <li>Continuous further development of our payment process including participation in tech initiatives to develop a (home grown) system solution which scales just like Picnic does</li> <li>Administer employee benefits, including health &amp; employee insurance, pension plans, and other voluntary benefits</li> <li>Assist employees with questions about their payroll and benefits, and ensure all inquiries are resolved in a timely and professional manner</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all relevant governmental regulations, including but not limited to tax laws, labor laws, and benefits regulations</li> <li>Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all payroll and benefits-related transactions</li> <li>Prepare reports and analysis as needed, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports</li> <li>Management of numerous stakeholders both inside and outside Picnic in the payment process</li> <li>Take the lead on formalizing our policies &amp; benefits</li> </ul> <h2 id="⭐-about-you">⭐ About you</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR or similar</li> <li>Preferably a PDL-degree, or international equivalent</li> <li>5-7 years of working experience in the fields of payroll, payments, HR or finance</li> <li>Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and/or Google Sheet (if possible VBA and/or JavaScript knowledge)</li> <li>Initial experience with an HCM system is an advantage</li> <li>Responsible and accurate way of working</li> <li>Good Dutch and English communication skills, verbally and in writing</li> <li>Available for at least 4 days per week</li> </ul> <h2 id="📖-picnic-perks">📖 Picnic Perks</h2> <h2 id="every-expert-was-once-a-beginner">Every expert was once a beginner!</h2> <ul> <li>You’ll get plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself and grow, including the Picnic Tech Academy, Lunch &amp; Learn sessions, and tailored soft skills training.
