Parts/Service Attendant

Parts/Service attendant will work cross-functionally across multiple areas of the garage, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining accurate inventory levels, prepare & process warranty claims.

• In the absence of service advisor, attendant will be required to assist in service office operations, in doing this Parts/Service Attendant will be required to learn basic functions of service office including work order creation, OOS, basic telematics, and use of manufacturer portals.

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills will be necessary to log information, to process daily work orders, and complete required documentation.

• The ability to communicate effectively and basic math skills are necessary to perform these tasks at a satisfactory level.

• Parts/Service Attendant will be walking, standing, bending, pushing, pulling in all types of weather.

• Ability to grasp, grip, twist, pull bend and stoop for 12-hour shifts.

• Parts/Service Attendant will be assisting with service calls on equipment at remote locations away from the garage.

• Valid driver’s license and safety toed foot ware are required.

• Recognize and document equipment ID numbers, mileage readings and signage.

• Document part numbers on log sheets and work orders, track parts/tire usage

• Document and log labor hours on work orders and log sheets

• Must have 3-month work history in past 6 months listed on application.

Team member will be given 12 months from date of hire to complete training and meet the following qualifications and reclass as 02A Status:

• Complete all assigned Computer Based and Hands-on Training

• Show proficiencies with all aspects of Fleet Management Systems including work order creation/review/closure, warranty work up & reconciliation, and inventory management.

• Show proficiencies in Manufacturer Web based portals.

• Show effective communication skills.
