Zayo is seeking a dynamic and strategic Program Manager to oversee our Early Career Life Cycle initiatives. Our Program Manager - Early Career will be pivotal in designing, implementing, facilitating, providing ongoing support, and optimizing programs that cater to the development and progression of early career professionals within our organization such as internship, early stage career and quarterly onboarding programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent development, program management, and a passion for nurturing talent from entry-level positions through to leadership roles.

*We're open to this position working in a hybrid capacity out of our Denver, CO office (1401 Wynkoop).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development:

    • Develop comprehensive strategies and programs for the early career life cycle, including but not limited to: onboarding, training, mentorship, rotational experiences, and career development

    • Facilitate, deliver and/or partner with Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide training focused on Zayo specific roles and processes, technical skills, softs skills, and professional development tailored to early-career professionals

    • Collaborate with HR, Learning & Development, and hiring managers to ensure alignment with organizational goals and needs

    • Devises solutions based on limited information and precedent and adapts existing approaches to resolve issues
       

  • Implementation and Execution:

    • Drive the execution of programs from inception through delivery, ensuring high-quality implementation and participant satisfaction

    • Monitor program effectiveness, uses data, evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select right course of action to improve outcomes and ROI

    • Identify high-potential employees and create personalized development plans to nurture their talent and accelerate their growth within the organization

    • Act as a resource for other team members
       

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across departments to gain buy-in, support, and collaboration for program initiatives

    • Partner with recruiters, managers, and leaders to ensure a seamless integration of early career professionals into the organization

    • Adapts style to different audiences
       

  • Performance Measurement and Reporting:

    • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of programs

    • Regularly report on program effectiveness to senior management and recommend enhancements based on insights

    • Works independently and receives minimal guidance, work is reviewed at critical points
       

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to early career development and talent management

    • Continuously iterate on programs to ensure they remain relevant, effective, and competitive

    • Enhances relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with the subject matter often requiring persuasion

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, organizational development or other related field.

  • Five (5) years of related experience OR nine (9) years of direct related experience.

  • Strong understanding of early career development strategies and best practices.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to establish priorities, work independently under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and proceed with objectives with limited supervision.
