About the role
This Director-level role leads a team of Clinical Executives responsible for client-facing EHR deployment activities. The position provides clinical informatics and operational leadership in partnership with client stakeholders to ensure safe, effective care delivery throughout implementation, while driving clinician readiness, adoption, and sustained outcomes across healthcare facilities.
To be successful in this role:
- Directly manage a team of site-facing clinical executives, including hiring/onboarding, role clarity, performance expectations, and ongoing coaching
- Create and maintain staffing plans for implementation support, including schedules, rotations, backup coverage, and contingency plans for unplanned gaps
- Assign work and priorities across the team based on site readiness, clinical risk, and program milestones; remove blockers and rebalance workload as needed
- Partner closely with VA clinical and operational leaders (e.g., CMIO/CNIO equivalents, service line leadership) to assess readiness, align priorities, and support clinical decision-making throughout deployment
- Escalate and coordinate response for high-risk clinical workflow issues, ensuring the right SMEs are engaged and that the team maintains clear executive-ready communications
- Use data and deployment signals to drive continuous improvement (e.g., readiness indicators, training completion/adoption measures, workflow performance, incident trends, clinician feedback)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Informatics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in clinical informatics, healthcare operations, healthcare IT, implementation/deployment, or consulting
- 3+ years of people leadership experience, including leading teams of clinical leaders and/or senior individual contributors
- Demonstrated experience leading complex programs/workstreams with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong executive communication, facilitation, and influencing skills; ability to engage credibly with Government and clinical leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed clinical background (RN, PharmD, etc.) and/or significant clinical informatics leadership experience
- Experience supporting Federal/Public Sector healthcare environments
- Experience with EHR go-live planning/execution, command center operations, and support in complex, multi-site health systems
Expectations:
- Extensive travel required/Up to 80% or greater
- US Citizenship is required with an ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
