Finance FP&A Analyst

We hope you can join us in that mission.As a successful Finance FP&A Analyst you will be a key member of the Finance FP&A team, providing accurate and reliable forecasts, analyzing budget vs actual results to provide business insights, and building and owning complex financial models. You will work closely with Accounting, as well as with Department budget owners. The Financial Analyst role will report to the Manager, FP&A and have the chance to work on a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Who you are:

• 2+ years of experience as an analyst in FP&A, in a high-growth SaaS environment.
• You have advanced skills in Google Sheets or Excel, and are able to build and maintain complex financial models.
• You have knowledge of the systems HUMAN uses, specifically Adaptive Planning or similar.  Experience with NetSuite, our ERP, would also be desirable.  Able to quickly learn new systems.
• You have a strong sense of ownership which drives you to produce high quality, accurate results that you are proud of.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to work effectively with the accounting team.
• You are open, transparent and work collaboratively with your team and business partners.
• You deliver accuracy in the details and while also being able to understand the big picture, and are able to communicate key financial information to department heads and other stakeholders.
• Be able to prioritize effectively during times of high pressure

What you'll do:

• Be an integral part FP&A team that builds the financial plan for the company; analyzes past performance vs plan; maintains an accurate, current forecast; and liaises with department budget owners.
• Own specific aspects of FP&A’s month-end close and forecasting processes that may relate to OpEx, Revenue, Headcount, etc. and provide variance analysis on areas of responsibility.
• Become a co-administrator of Adaptive Planning, our forecasting tool, and maintain it as our source of truth for Actuals and Budget reporting.
• Over time, own the complete financial model. Bring together financial and operational data and provide insights on Revenue, P&L, and Cash Flow.
• Clearly communicate financial insights to finance team members and management.
• Produce accurate, timely financial reporting in support of FP&As monthly reporting process
• Own and support business operations such as PO approval from an FP&A perspective.
• Provide overall support to the finance team in budgeting, budget vs actuals analysis, investor reporting, and other ad-hoc projects.
