Senior Data-Warehouse Engineer

<p>WINGS ICT Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Data Warehouse Engineer to join the growing team. The main responsibilities of the role are:</p><ul> <li>Working closely with business users and business analysts to understand the requirements</li> <li>Analysing source data, understand relationships, hierarchies, groups, etc.</li> <li>Designing Implementing and testing ETL jobs</li> <li>Optimizing the DWH Data Model, etc.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Educational requirements:</p><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technology field</li> <li>Master’s degree in the aforementioned fields will be considered a plus<br/> </li> </ul><p>Required skills:</p><ul> <li>At least 5 years of relevant working experience</li> <li>Oracle Database knowledge and experience are mandatory</li> <li>SQL and PL/SQL knowledge and experience are mandatory</li> <li>Knowledge and experience in development using ETL Tools (Oracle ODI is preferred but not mandatory)</li> <li>Working experience with Enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, etc.) is preferred</li> <li>Experience in working with large data sets will be considered a plus</li> <li>Familiarity with logical data model</li> <li>Familiar with Agile methodology<br/> </li> </ul><p>Nice-to-have skills:</p><ul><li>Working experience in a fast-paced technology company<br/> </li></ul><p>Other qualifications: </p><ul> <li>Excellent communicational skills</li> <li>Fluent in English (both written and verbal)</li> <li>The person must be able to work as part of a team and cooperate with other departments, remote users, and vendors to execute a planned implementation</li> <li>Analytical thinking and a can-do attitude are essential</li> <li>Able to work in an agile environment</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Competitive salary based on your skills, reviewed upwards on a regular basis, based on your performance.</li> <li>Participation in state-of-the-art projects challenges in large-scale projects</li> <li>Personal and professional development, amongst industry experts and talented people</li> <li>Continuous learning, having access to broad resources for professional and personal development</li> <li>Commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity</li> </ul>
