Position Summary
The Clinic Care Aide plays a key role in providing compassionate, high-quality care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, & other healthcare professionals.
This position supports patient care, clinical operations, and administrative tasks in an ambulatory office setting, ensuring a positive and safe experience for patients and their families.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Licenses and Certifications
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; AHA BLS preferred
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification preferred
Experience and Skills
Minimum 1 year of clinical office experience preferred
Ability to perform manual blood pressure required
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Role-Specific Responsibilities
Communicates effectively with patients, families, the care team, and external partners using written, verbal, observational, and empathetic skills
Rooms patients, collects vital signs, and documents required and updated clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR) following policy
Demonstrates competency in accurate and compliant documentation of patient care within the scope of clinical role
Monitors medication and supply inventory, ensuring proper storage, handling, and adherence to expiration protocols
Supports clinical operations by assisting with patient flow, preparation of exam rooms, and other care-related tasks as needed
