The Opportunity

We are seeking a self-motivated software developer with C#, .NET, SQL, TFS, COBOL, and Visual studio knowledge, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains application programs.
• Contributes to the development of project plans and timelines.
• Provides estimates for planned work.
• Establish an open relationship with customers, teammates, and other members of the IT organization.

Expectations:

• Complete assigned tasks as directed in a timely manner using best practices and standards.
• Unit test code for proper functionality.
• Follow the established standards, patterns, and processes.
• Participate in scrum activities.
• Understanding of annuity concepts are a plus.

Key Technologies:

• Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Rally
• SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), T-SQL
• C#.Net, web services (REST/Soap)
• Cobol or willingness to learn

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years' experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform in a collaborative work environment with individuals from across the organization.
• Familiarity and experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum is preferred.
• Ability to communicate, develop, and leverage relationships across the organization.
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as with a team in a collaborative environment.
