PT Auto Auction Ringman - Jurupa Valley, CA

Salary: $70 hourly (5 hours guaranteed)

Job Summary: Reporting to designated Manager, the Ringman works the auction floor in a sale lane before, during, and after the auction
working directly with the Auctioneer. Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies, procedures, and state or
federal laws are followed, at all times.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to the following:

1. Customer Service
   - Provide prompt and courteous service.
   - Demonstrate friendliness and greet every customer attending the sale.   - 
   - Be familiar with procedures for handling all aspects of customer complaints or disputes. Resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner. Advise designated Manager of all serious complaints or incidences.
   - Practice and promote company Core Values.

2. Auction Duties:
   - Help direct the flow of auction traffic in designated lane in a safe manner.
   -  Observe any spills, wet spots, or debris in the lane and alert management of safety issues.
   -  Ensure that all bidders in lane have proper bidder badges and badge numbers are visible to the auctioneer to ensure that they are permitted to attend and bid at the sale.
   -  Be familiar with and maintain knowledge of inventory in designated auction lane.
   - Have a strong sales awareness with a focus on achieving goals and percentages of cars sold for each sale day.
   - Create a sense of urgency to buyers to purchase inventory.
   - Relay bids from in-lane customers and internet buyers to block clerk and auctioneer.

3. Other
   - Practice and promote teamwork at all times.
   - Follow all safety polices
   - Set a professional example of attitude and performance.
   - Encourage buyers to bid during auction.
   - Always recommend promotions, added products, and services to buyers.
   - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ringman Qualifications:
   - Effective communication and interpersonal skills
   - Ability to understand and interpret information.
   - Must be able to perform all Ringman responsibilities and skills.
