Join our team as a Demi Chef de Partie at Jansz.—one of our two restaurants, known for its relaxing atmosphere and delightful dining experience. Your role includes preparing and presenting dishes creatively, ensuring flawless service preparation, and contributing to a high-quality guest experience. !

You responsibilities:

• Performing preparatory tasks such as washing, cutting, and cooking.

• Maintaining mise en place for smooth service operations.

• Assessing the quality of ingredients used in dishes.

• Preparing dishes according to recipes or specific instructions.

• Conducting interim quality checks on cooking, taste, and presentation.

• Portioning, plating, executing à la minute cooking tasks, and garnishing dishes.

• Ensuring proper storage and handling of food items.

• Making suggestions for menu, recipe, and garnish adjustments.

• Assisting and mentoring kitchen interns and trainees.

• Monitoring and recording ingredient usage.

Who are you?

• A passionate storyteller with a love for cooking

• Brings a minimum of 1 year of culinary experience to the table

• Flexible to work on weekdays and weekends

The salary will be a bruto salary of € 2.540 per month for a full-time contract.
