YOUR FUTURE ROLE

 

The Global Head Sustainability and ESG in the Global Real Estate and Facility organization (GRF) will lead the development and execution of GRF's global sustainability and ESG strategies and initiatives. 
Reporting to the Head of GRF, the key aspects and responsibilities of your role will be: 

  • Develop and execute a global sustainability and ESG strategy for GRF based on the company's ESG strategy and Net Zero roadmap.
  • Manage and develop a global distributed new team to ensure overall execution of the GRF sustainability and ESG strategy for the office and data center portfolio considering potential regional differences.
  • Establish and track GRF's ESG performance using key indicators aligned with the company's ESG goals and manage all GRF ESG reporting requirements and sustainability audits.
  • Managing and promoting innovation regarding sustainability and ESG throughout the organization. 
  • Ensure the right expertise for sustainability and ESG in the GRF organization incl. training and awareness.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with external sustainability organizations and stakeholders and represent GRF as a thought leader in that area.

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Leader with a minimum of five years' experience in comprehensive worldwide sustainability and ESG strategy within the global real estate or facilities services sectors larger than 500.000 square meters. 
  • A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of sustainability regulations, standards, and reporting frameworks, specific knowledge of EU / German ESG legislation and regulation is required. 
  • International and cross-cultural experience along with proven skills in people management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization with the ability to influence and lead in a wider context. 
  • Proven record in value creation and innovation
