Greenberg Traurig has an excellent opportunity for a junior Corporate Associate, with a focus on M&A, to join the Corporate Practice of our Boston office. We offer market compensation and an excellent benefits package.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in corporate transactions with an emphasis on M&A, including private equity.
Candidates must have experience drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and ancillary agreements for complex M&A and private equity transactions. Candidates must be able to (i) lead critical transaction workstreams such as due diligence (including for rep and warranty insurance transactions), (ii) independently draft and negotiate ancillary agreements and disclosure schedules, (iii) manage tax, benefits, real estate and other internal and external specialists, and (iv) interface with the client on these workstreams.
This position requires a motivated candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment. Strong academic credentials and organizational and writing skills are essential.
Candidates must be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar or eligible for admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
