Work Schedule: Full time; Monday – Friday, approximate 5:00AM start time
Required License: Valid Class E FL license and ability to maintain $100,000 – $300,000 private passenger auto insurance with designated business usage
Pay: $65,000-75,000
401K: 50% matching up to 10% of salary

Strategically leverage portfolio of products to sell and service assigned accounts in order to meet company objectives for volume and distribution. Focused primarily on independent C&G, Neighborhood and Liquor stores.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Travels through assigned territory with a focus on our non-alcoholic portfolio in Indy C&G, Neighborhood and Liquor stores.
• Rides along with supplier representatives to visit accounts.
• Works with marketing department for brand activation and programs.
• Make sales calls on Independent C&G, Neighborhood and Liquor accounts.
• Quotes prices to retailers for orders and promotions ensuring pricing is appropriate.
• Discusses any special deals or promotions with customers.
• Provides sampling of new products introduced in the area to accounts in order to increase sales.
• Persuades accounts to use P.O.S. items to promote sale of company products.
• Ensures P.O.S. displayed in the accounts are up-to-date and in working order.
• Puts up signs, and other thematic P.O.S. when necessary.
• Completes requests for signage and obtains a supervisor’s signature.
• Checks brand positioning in coolers for proper adjacencies and floor space for displays.
• Assist in customer maintenance and new account set up.
• Communicate with C&G Director, Sales Managers, Sales Reps on a constant basis to discuss sales objectives, competitive activity and resolve customer problems.
• Maintains product knowledge of all brands and packages that J.J. Taylor carries.
• Maintains knowledge of promotional pricing each month, on-going promotions, and any other programs that the company is promoting.
• Resolves any problems accounts may have in relation to ordering, deliveries & out-of-stock items.
• Completes weekly and monthly objective recaps, incentive tracking, and MBO’s.
• Communicate with route drivers in order to resolve customer needs.
• Is responsible for successful completion of Brew U Training modules.

• Must use own means of transportation (i.e. vehicle) to get from account to account in order to service customer accounts/venues.
• Must be able to regularly unload products (case of beer/NA products), which averages 40 lbs., but can weigh up to a maximum of 49 lbs. from delivery vehicle and transport into customer accounts.
• Requires ability to move easily around account premises in order to inventory current stock levels and display P.O.S.
• Able to rotate product in coolers and on shelves.
• Able to maneuver a two-wheel dolly effectively.
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years previous sales experience.
• Valid Class D driver’s license required.
