Join our dynamic team as a Senior Field Applications Engineer (FAE) specializing in the European market. Your expertise in sensor architecture and image processing is vital for enhancing image quality. With a strong grasp of CMOS and pixel design, coupled with hardware proficiency, you'll assist customers in resolving diverse system-level application challenges. Familiarity with the automotive and security industries is key for providing efficient support tailored to their needs. Collaboration across various internal OMNIVISION departments adds to the vibrant spirit of our diverse team.

- Delivery of technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and tuning workshops.
- Collaboration with the sales team to assess the potential application of OMNIVISION products, crafting high level product specifications for customer solutions.
- Providing follow-up support to both the sales team and customers by sharing technical information on specific applications.
- In-depth customer support during project development phases.
- Product specification verification to ensure optimal functionality.
- Close collaboration with teams dedicated to delivering new or upgrading existing products.
- Participation in projects from initiation through delivery, contributing to planning and schedules.
- BSEE or equivalent; MSEE preferred
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English
- Must be comfortable making technical presentations in front of all levels of customers
- Team player with a collaborative mindset, adept at fostering cooperation and synergy within cross-functional teams.
- Minimum five-year experience working in field applications or applications engineering in semiconductor industry or similar application areas
- Strong plus:
- Practical knowledge of and interest in imaging technology
- Automotive camera architectures
- System knowledge
