Position Summary


We are looking for a Regional Quality Manager – Eastern Region


This position supports the American Equipment Systems - Eastern U.S. locations with the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS), to achieve higher levels of execution efficiency, cost savings, process improvement and customer satisfaction. Work will coordinate with all levels of management and employees at each site.
 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure ISO 9001 level quality program is implemented and operating throughout the assigned locations in the assigned Region,
  • Perform quality assurance activities to assist local Management in compliance to the ISO Standard
  • Ensure locations compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements
  • Assist local management to remove obstacles adversely impacting the QMS
  • Using the Audit Schedule, conduct internal audits of assigned locations for policy, processes, procedures and form, compliance; Report results
  • Support local management by driving a continuous improvement culture
  • Measure and report KPI’s
  • Develop, motivate, mentor, train and coach employees, as required
  • Work with the national Quality Team members to provide continual improvements and needed support.
  • Report results in a timely and appropriate manner, as directed
  • Work with all levels of the Local Organizations assigned to meet Goals and Objectives
  • Collect and contribute data and reports for Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Meeting
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor – Certified, preferred.
  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, required.
  • Quality Engineer or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred.
  • Experience implementing and continuously improving a multi-site QMS 
  • Strong Continuous Improvement background (Lean, Six Sigma, TOC)

Work Environment

  • Must be able to sit at a desk or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • In office and in shop at assigned locations, follow Safety rules
  • Must be able to traverse the production facility
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Schedule:

This is a permanent, full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
