Business Analyst - IT Hardware Asset and Delivery
Tarrytown, NY
This is an on-site role in our Tarrytown, NY location responsible for managing inventory requests for IT equipment across the enterprise, ensuring timely fulfillment, and coordinating with vendors. The ideal candidate will track inventory in Excel and/or other analytical tools, run reports and metrics, and adhere to project deadlines for implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Requests: Receive and process inventory requests from across the enterprise via an enterprise ticketing tool.
- Fulfillment Coordination: Ensure requests are fulfilled accurately and timely, working closely with internal teams and vendors.
- Liaising: Work with IT teams to determine logistical information pertaining to time frame for delivery, size, and scope of IT material requests.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to ensure they meet their obligations and deliver on time.
- Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate inventory records, run reports, and create & track key metrics.
- Project Deadlines: Adhere to project deadlines for implementations and ensuring receipt of equipment in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of projects: logistics planning including delivery routes, site logistics schedules and stages of project both current and forthcoming.
- Customer Interaction: Work with internal customers for IT equipment and various IT vendors.
- Problem Solving: Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
- Documentation: Document and maintain workflows.
- Equipment Handling: Prepare high value IT assets for shipment across the health system, including hardware for remote workers.
- Review and resolve all shipping and receiving-related issues/discrepancies.
- Assist with direct Inventory counting, inventory records and year-end warehouse audit.
- Customer interaction: Work with internal customers for IT equipment moves/transfers/disposal and various IT vendors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and dashboards.
- Ability to identify metrics and analyze data.
- Experience in IT procurement or inventory management and handling high-value IT assets/equipment.
