The Role
The role of the Career Pathway and Development Adviser is to work with business areas to identify career pathways in the House of Commons and the skills and capabilities needed to progress a career in the House.
You will identify opportunities to improve organisational impact through applying whole system thinking and delivering modern and inclusive career and skills development frameworks to meet the evolving needs of Parliament.
Some of the responsibilities for this role include:
- Partner with other areas of the House of Commons and Joint Departments to understand the career pathways that exist across the House.
- Conduct analysis cross-House by aligning with workforce planning data to diagnose critical, cross-House career and skills gaps.
- Develop clear project plans with agreed deliverables, milestones, measures of success and impact.
