Gundersen Health System is a physician-led enterprise recognized for delivering high-quality healthcare services across Wisconsin We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to provide exceptional support to our dental professionals and ensure a positive experience for our patients.

We are offering a $1000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible candidates!

Position: Dental Assistant
Department: Prosthodontics
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Locations: Downtown Dental Specialties, La Crosse

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the prosthodontist during examinations and procedures
• Prepare and maintain the treatment area and dental instruments
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and prosthetic care
• Manage patient records and appointments
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning)
• Previous experience in a dental setting, particularly in prosthodontics, is a preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in electronic patient records (example Epic) is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
