Facilities Assistant

Job Description

Working with our senior maintenance tech, this position will be assisting in the repair, restoration, beatification and general labor services as required by the VetMed facility.
Conduct daily maintenance and repair to facility as directed. Follow work order system and provide documentation upon completion. Responsible for moving furniture, repairing exam tables, fixing minor plumbing issues, hanging of white boards, shelving installations etc. as requested.
Provide immediate critical assistance to meet operational demands. Provide assistance with seasonal duties to include grounds maintenance and snow removal during applicable seasons. Includes alternate work schedule to accommodate the facility's needs.

Required Qualifications

General/manual labor experience. Experience using farm/lawn equipment and small power and hand tools
Ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively. Valid driver’s license. Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
