OracleAbout the role
Our Team
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a strategic growth area for Oracle. It is a comprehensive cloud services offering in the enterprise software industry, spanning Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS). PaaS delivers the infrastructure and middleware components that enable developers, IT administrators, and end users to build, integrate, migrate, deploy, secure, and manage mobile and web applications.
OCI Functions is a fully managed service that provides elastic serverless compute for short-lived workloads. The complexity in architecture arises from running customer workloads with secure isolation and predictable latency. It vends serverless on-demand computing for short-lived, event-driven workloads.

- Drive design of features and subsystems
- You will work independently on most projects occasionally requiring guidance in areas that need deep expertise.
- You will collaborate with multiple teams while making nuanced trade-offs, designing for security, concurrency, availability, performance, scalability; subtle aspects of operating a high-scale service
- You will handle operational problems, identify and remediate issues without assistance. Develop new metrics and dashboards to drive situational awareness. You will identify and implement solutions that reduce operational load (reduce manual touchpoints), increase service availability and resiliency to failures, improve compliance to org standards and reduce tech debt.
You will have the opportunity to be part of a team of passionate engineers who are fueled by serving customers and have a penchant to constantly push the innovation bar.
