The Role
The Architectural Drafter/BIM Manager is responsible for developing schematic designs, producing 3D renderings, and preparing construction documents. As well, they will be in charge of setting and maintaining BIM Standards and advising and teaching BIM/Revit to other staff. From schematic design through construction documents, you will become engaged in the full life cycle of a variety of challenging projects within several market sectors in ND, SD and MN.
Experience, Education and Licensure:

1. Two-year Associates degree required
1. Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and meet company insurability requirements
2. Proficiency with Autodesk software, including Revit and AutoCAD; working knowledge of graphics applications including Sketch-Up, Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-Design
3. Must have working knowledge of Lumion, or equivalent, rendering software.
4. Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
5. Ability to apply effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills when preparing technical reports and documentation and participating in project team meetings
6. Ability to travel to attend project meetings, conduct on-site consultations and assessments, and meet with team members.
7. Knowledge of building design for office, retail, hospitality, multi-family and industrial facilities.
