The Headlines:
The Point of Sale Warehouse Assistant in Denver, CO, in addition to providing assistance with central receiving and general administrative duties related to the Marketing Services Department, the Point of Sale Warehouse Assistant is responsible for the receiving, storage and movement of POS items within the facility in a manner that encourages use in the marketplace. This person will also oversee all responsibilities associated with the receipt and repair of damaged or non-working neons. They will also help update out of date neons.
This position reports to the Point of Sale Warehouse Supervisor.
The Responsibilities:
- Receiving
- Unload, verify, and receive POS shipments to include logging of items and entry into Verian
- Central receiving responsibilities to include general package receiving and distribution of non-POS items to appropriate recipients throughout the building
- POS Warehouse Organization
- Stock and store POS items in a way that helps ensure warehouse stays organized and POS is easy to locate
- Kitting of POS and swag for account specific or thematic programs
- Rotation of monthly/seasonal focus POS.
- Display and showcase key items to help drive awareness and excitement around important pieces.
- Assist with administrative and maintenance responsibilities for the team
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in the POS Warehouse
- Neon Repair
- Receive damaged neons and determine cost effectiveness and feasibility of fixing neons versus piecing out parts
- Responsible for repair of damaged and non-working neons
- Order neon parts and purchase necessary supplies
- Keep Neon Room orderly and clean
- Establish standard turn-around time and process for drop-off/pick-up
- Inventory Management Support
- Provide input to POS orders as needed and help identify gaps in key POS items to support sales needs
- Inform brand managers when priority POS items are getting low in inventory
- Help fill gaps in supplier produced POS where appropriate to ensure proper availability of priority items to support monthly objectives
- Track permanent and allocated POS
- Assist with minor POS repairs or re-branding
- Misc.
- Provide coverage with sign shop production when needed
- Pulls and stages special events POS
- Cover CSA’s Breaks
- Orders supplies and tools for POS and merchandisers
- Other Duties as assigned
The Other Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Warehouse experience required
- Strong organizational skills required
- Must be proactive and trustworthy
- Self-Motivated
- Experience working with neons or electrical knowledge preferred
- Must know how to operate a reach truck and lift
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle repetitive heavy lifting and various other forms of manual labor.
- Must be able to work early mornings
- Position requires physical presence within CDC
