We’re getting ready to launch a brand-new restaurant in Jersey, and we’re looking for a talented Head Chef to lead the kitchen from day one.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something from the very beginning. Backed by one of Jersey’s most respected hospitality groups, this new concept will blend great food with a fun, relaxed atmosphere and a fast-paced, guest-focused style of service. The name and full concept are still under wraps for now, but we can promise it’ll be something fresh, lively and full of potential.

What’s the concept?
Without giving too much away:

• Pizza will be at the heart of the menu.
• The style is casual and vibrant, combining dine-in and delivery.
• Quality, speed and simplicity will be key.
• It’s designed to stand out from the usual chains by combining flavour, energy and proper hospitality.

What we’re looking for

We’re after a Head Chef who can:

• Take the lead on finalising the menu - keeping it tight, innovative and costed properly.
• Help shape the kitchen setup and systems so we’re operationally ready to go.
• Recruit, train, and inspire a small kitchen team who care about getting things right.
• Set the standard for food quality, consistency and presentation.
• Stay on top of ordering, stock, GP and kitchen efficiency.
• Keep calm under pressure, lead by example, and bring a positive energy to the team.

You’ll need to have

• Previous experience as a Head Chef or a strong Sous Chef ready to step up.
• Experience in casual dining or high-volume environments.
• A practical and commercial mindset - understanding costings, margins and prep efficiency.
• A strong grasp of food hygiene, kitchen safety and systems.
• A sense of pride, ownership and a genuine love of food and hospitality.
