Manager, Contracts

V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a Manager, Contracts to join our team! 

Description: 

Advises and/or represents the organization on contract negotiation and administration matters. Participates in and/or conducts front-end assessments of proposals, negotiates and executes contracts, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements and customer specifications. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations and means to mitigate contractual/program risks; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical records. Examines and understands Forward Pricing Rates, Cost structure estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Strong demonstration of experience in contract management.
• Experience with proposal preparation and contract negotiation.
• Strong demonstrated ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, mission critical environment.
• Excellent communication skills, be proficient in MS Office and be very detail oriented.
• Ability to adapt to changing work assignments and shifting priorities.
• Must have strong time management skills, multi-task ability and able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects/tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Desired Qualifications/Skills

• Understanding of Commercial Contracting.
• Understanding of GSA Schedules.
• Experience in Data Rights Protection.

Education Requirements:

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
