As an Associate Actuary within the Finance, Actuarial, Investment & Risk (FAIR) Audit Group, you will deploy our agile audit approach to assess financial risks across financial management organizations, including Prudential’s international operations. You will influence our audit approach and contribute to the advancement of members of the team.
The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site
What you can expect:
Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with key business partners.
Establish existing controls and the assessment of risks.
Utilize data analytics, control analysis, issue development, and other forms of testing.
Design reports on findings and present to key partners and management.
Stay up to date on emerging business developments, industry trends, and changes in the regulatory environments.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor's degree in finance & actuarial related disciplines.
Obtained or near to obtain Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA)
Minimum 2 years of professional work experience in finance/actuarial areas
Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to articulate complex concepts.
Ability to learn quickly and solve challenging problems.
Understanding of financial management in insurance businesses. Ability to see the big picture while focusing on the details.
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
It’d be a plus if you had:
Project management experience.
Audit and/or risk management experience
Advanced data analytics and/or data science experience.
