The Corporate FP&A team is a key piece of the Hologic finance organization, providing financial support and analysis directly to senior and executive leadership. Reporting to a Manager, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for developing financial models, budget forecasting, monthly and quarterly reporting, and project work. Additionally, the ideal candidate will maintain close working relationships with our corporate IT business partners, engaging with them regularly to support and align budgets. The role has regular executive exposure to a highly engaged team, focused on delivering critical business insights. The successful candidate is expected to work on-site (Marlborough, MA) four days a week. 

What to expect

  • Collaborate with business partners to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts to set performance expectations for Information Technology (IT) departments
  • Analyze current and historical trends for key performance measurements, identify opportunities for financial improvement and provide recommendations to management
  • Apply knowledge of business systems and processes and leverage best practices when working with business partners to solve business issues 
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly departmental reporting packages including standard reports and variance commentary
  • Increase the use of automation across the organization to streamline and improve new and existing management reports 
  • Assist with the implementation of budgeting/forecasting and reporting software tools 
  • Assist with the development of materials for senior leadership reviews (Global Leadership Team and Board of Directors), providing critical insight into the business
  • Provide financial modeling, financial analysis, and ad-hoc projects as required

  • Exceptional in managing, analyzing, and summarizing large data sets in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP system (Oracle is strongly preferred)
  • Experience with BI systems, such as Hyperion / Essbase, Power BI, and Qlik Sense

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance
  • 3-5 years related financial experience

Must follow all applicable FDA regulations and ISO requirements.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $81,200 to $120,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
