You can join this nationwide network through Florida Kidney Physicians, which is seeking passionate and dedicated Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join their team. This opportunity is open to candidates of all experience levels. Although previous Nephrology experience is preferred, this opportunity is also open to APP candidates with a strong background in Cardiology, Emergency Room, MedSurg, or ICU. Training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into nephrology for candidates with no prior nephrology experience. The ideal candidate will be ready to learn and hit the ground running in this high demand group!
Hiring Package:
• Competitive base salary, plus potential for productivity bonuses
• 3 weeks PTO + 5 Sick Days
Schedule/Practice Details:
• Mainly hospital and dialysis
• 2 Hospitals, 1 main, 2 satellite offices and 6 dialysis clinics on rotation
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree program in nursing, with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements
• Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
• Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes.
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
• Knowledge of documentation in medical records in a confidential manner.
