Job Overview
We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced individual for the position of Manager, Facilities Workplace & Business Operations. The Manager Facilities Workplace and Business Operations is an on-site position that reports to Head of Facilities. Focused on Real Estate and Facilities, ensures the efficient financial management and business operations. Oversee the day-to day financial business operations across multiple functions of the Facilities and Corporate Services scope of operations including but not limited to, Real Estate and Property Management, Procurement and Contract Management, Utilities and Energy Management, Food Services, Environmental Health and Safety, General Site Services. Leads the Workplace, Employee and Guest Services operations and the day-to-day scope of these operations across multiple sites within the organization’s North American Real Estate portfolio.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains systems to ensure cost-effective operations, real time monitoring of spend, implementation of cost management measures.
- Tracking and reporting of monthly costs and accruals.
- Contract management – process MSAs, SOWs, amendments in ECMS, Submit requisitions and tracks Purchase Orders in Oracle
- Accounts Payable – tracking and submitting of invoices for payment
- Participate in the development and management of the annual operating budget process,
- Manage Employee and Guest Services operations team to ensure a productive and professional experience for all. Team of two direct reports.
- Manage work order system to ensure timely and efficient completion of requests.
- Ticket triage/management. Respond and follow-up with employees on all Facilities / Corporate Services requests.

Education and Experience
- Required: High school diploma (or equivalent) with relevant time in field.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with detailed oriented budget management
- Experience in corporate services and/or business operations
- Experience in regulated environment industry
- Minimum 10+ years (w/out Bachelor’s) or 6 – 8 years (with Bachelor’s) of relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry
The base salary range for this role is $112,200 to $140,200. Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for merit-based salary increases, short incentive plan participation, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with your work state. Our robust time-off policy includes unlimited paid time off, 11 paid holidays plus additional time off for a shut-down period during the last week of December, 80 hours of paid sick time upon hire and each year thereafter.
