We are currently looking for a Maintenance/Reliability Intern at our Schenectady, NY office.

 

The 2025 dsm-firmenich Summer Internship Program will begin June 9th, 2025 and run through August 14, 2025

Our standard working hours are Monday – Friday (37.5 / 40 hours per week)

Your key responsibilities

• Work with Maintenance Technicians and other interns to complete assignments.
• Collect information from work orders to analyse data of the equipment.
• Create lockout tag out, try out procedure as part of the maintenance safe work.
• Work with Maintenance to install QR codes on all equipment.
• Involvement with lean or 5S events on site.
• Work along side maintenance technicians to learn equipment and how PMs are completed.

You Bring

• Currently working on completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Candidates must be available to work full-time beginning on June 9, 2025 – August 14, 2025
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
