Business Financial Manager

NATECH is recruiting for a Business Financial Manager to join our team supporting the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Information Innovation Office (I20). This position requires minimum of Interim Secret Clearance to be considered.

Work performed 40-60% time (minimum) onsite at DARPA in Arlington, VA.

This position will perform a variety of duties to include program management support, business analysis, financial management, programmatic support, and administrative taskings.

Travel may be required up to ~10% time.

Required Skills:

Requires an interim Secret clearance at minimum and must be eligible for upgrade at the TS level or higher, if needed, after starting

Must be able to travel as needed

Driven, proactive, and management-consultant minded individual with a strong work ethic, seeking to cultivate business management skills, develop financial expertise, and establish professional working relationships within DARPA

Sincere interest and demonstrated quick-learning aptitude for performing the wide-ranging and challenging duties of a DARPA Business Financial Manager

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in support of being able to learn and apply knowledge related to financial systems and business management, including the following:

1. Drafting complete and responsive funding documents
2. Presenting financial execution status at quarterly meetings
3. Developing budgets for new programs
4. Crafting obligation plans and planning for incremental funding in alignment with DoD funding appropriations, including potential Continuing Resolutions
5. Proactively working with DARPA-internal or external contracting offices to support contract awards, modifications, and incremental funding actions

Ability to multi-task and manage communications and responsibilities in parallel

Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy

Strong organization and communication skills required

Desired Experience:

Experience with DAI or similar DoD financial system desired (but not required)

DARPA experience desired (but not required)

Bachelor’s degree desired
