We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated leader to join our team as Senior Director of Digital Experience. This individual will work closely with the Asset Management Chief Technology Officer and other key business decision-makers in identifying and implementing cost-effective technology solutions. This role will drive the development and implementation of a cohesive strategy that focuses on the development of our web enabled front end for an existing client/server application. A focus on efficiency, consistency and smooth operation of the environment is key. This role will set the strategy, architecture and ensure tight execution of the plan. This individual will be working with the senior level product team on strategy and delivery. The right person will proactively and cooperatively work with other development teams to drive results.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this role include ownership of BIMS Digital application:
Oversight of strategy and architecture to ensure the application will meet product requirements, non-functional requirements, and performance requirements. Work with the Product team on determining prioritization and driving engineers to meet the plan. Build and ensure that the environment is resilient.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 10+ years of shown success in web development including a mix of hands-on technical work along with leadership oversight responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Experience leading within a large enterprise
- Experience leading fast-paced organizations through transformation.
- Ability to balance immediate operational and business demands, with long term strategic planning, for the benefit of the organization
- Experience recruiting, leading, and mentoring diverse groups of engineers in a remote work environment.
- Demonstrated experience with engineering in more than one of the following areas: ReactJS, .NET Core, Typescript, C#, Webpack, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Redis, PostgreSQL, MS SQL
- Strong hands-on technical background with AWS applications and operating systems.
- Highly knowledgeable in defect tracking and agile management tools.
- Knowledge of security controls and user administration.
- Thorough understanding of project management, resource management methodologies and project life cycle process.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach and train staff.
- Ability to work cross functionally within IT and the business.
- Experience working in a controlled and validated environment preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology related field or equivalent experience.
- Exhibited technical expertise related to large-scale deployments.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, tactical planning, business, and project management as well as customer and vendor relationship building.
- Strong knowledge of digital platforms in financial services with a focus on trading.
- Success motivating and aligning large cross-functional, matrixed teams striving towards a common goal.
- Ability to juggle different projects/priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Enthusiastic problem solver, have advanced critical and strategic thinking skills, have strong attention to detail, have a strong understanding of business processes and the integration. of technological processes, work comfortably with senior business leadership, work comfortably in a collaborative environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT or business / industry, with 3 or more years of leadership responsibilities including strategy, delivery, and staffing.
Salary Range: $185,000 to $200,000 Annual

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
