WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As the Senior Vice President, Professional & Managed Services, you will own the strategy, financial performance, and delivery of the organization's end-to-end services portfolio spanning project-based professional services and recurring managed services. You will have full profit-and-loss accountability for the services business and will be responsible for translating client needs into profitable, repeatable, and scalable offerings.
As both a strategic leader and an operational owner, you will build and develop high-performing delivery teams, establish and enforce quality and margin standards, deepen executive client relationships, and partner closely with sales, product, and finance to drive sustainable, profitable growth. Your success will be measured by growing higher-margin recurring services while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction and delivery excellence.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Develop and execute the strategy for the combined professional and managed services portfolio aligned with company growth objectives.
• Support the productization and packaging of services, converting bespoke project work into repeatable, scalable offerings while increasing recurring managed services revenue.
• Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure service offerings remain differentiated.
• Contribute to enterprise strategy as a member of the executive leadership team while providing regular performance, risk, and opportunity reporting.
• Own the financial performance of the services organization, including revenue, cost of delivery, gross margin, and operating margin.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasting revenue, capacity, bookings, backlog, and pipeline.
• Establish pricing strategies, govern project margins and scope, and identify opportunities to improve profitability across service lines.
• Drive growth in recurring managed services revenue (MRR/ARR) and improve the overall mix of recurring revenue.
• Oversee delivery of all professional and managed services engagements to ensure quality, contractual compliance, service level agreements, and client expectations are consistently achieved.
• Build and continuously improve delivery methodologies, resource planning, governance, and operational tooling.
• Optimize resource utilization and staffing while balancing billable productivity, quality, and employee development.
• Manage delivery risk, regulatory compliance, and serve as the executive escalation point for critical client issues.
• Build trusted executive relationships with key clients while serving as a strategic advisor.
• Partner closely with Sales on scoping, solution design, pricing, new business pursuits, and expansion opportunities.
• Monitor client satisfaction, contract retention, and renewal performance while driving continuous improvement.
• Build, lead, and scale high-performing teams across project management, consulting, engineering, architecture, service delivery, and operations.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent while establishing career development and succession planning.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and client-centricity.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Education & Experience
• 20+ years of progressive leadership experience within a technology, IT consulting, or services organization.
• Bachelor degree in related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading both project-based professional services and recurring managed services organizations.
• Proven track record of building and scaling services businesses while successfully productizing
