Sr. Software Engineer (REMOTE)

Key Responsibilities & Job Description:

• Research, design, and develop computer software and production applications. Independently develop and consistently redesign/refactor product to adapt to customer and associate needs.
• Involved in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring.
• Mentor less experienced engineers.
• Develop test suites to enable success and rapid deployment of code to production.
• Collaborate with other team members in agile processes.
• Work with the Product Team to ensure user stories are valuable, developer ready, easy to understand and testable.
• Deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
• Help grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks, and leading technical discussions.
• Telecommuting available.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
• Requires 2 years of experience in the following:

1. Java/JavaScript;

2. HTML;

3. CSS/Material UI;

4. UX/UE;

5. Unix/Linux/Windows;

6. React JS;

7. Typescript;

8. Redux;

9. Launch Darkly;

10. GCP;

11. Jest testing framework;

12. Cypress Integration testing framework;

13. J Unit test framework;

14. Postman;

15. Agile (JIRA);

16. Github.
