The Opportunity
Serving as the Sr. Strategy and Operations Manager for the Customer Group Marketing team, you will provide strategic and operational backing to secure flawless execution and efficiency. You will be a key connector aligning people, plans, tools, and data, empowering the Head of Customer Group Marketing to emphasize vision and deliver outstanding achievements. You will coordinate essential operational processes, ensure transparency in marketing initiatives, and manage planning workflows. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and excel at bringing clarity to complex situations.
What You’ll Do
Planning & Prioritization
Lead the quarterly planning process for your Customer Group, in collaboration with key collaborators
Maintain an overview of all ongoing and upcoming work within the team
Tier initiatives based on strategic alignment and impact
Track planning deliverables and highlight any blockers
Customer Group Operations & Cadence
Coordinate the operating rhythm, including weekly check-ins
Capture decisions, manage follow-ups, and ensure clear ownership and timelines
Coordinate collaboration between team members and partners
Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as a liaison across various teams to align timing and messaging
Monitor dependencies and resolve conflicts
Track agency engagement and flag delivery risks
Data, Reporting & Accountability
Partner with analytics teams to track and report on performance
Maintain dashboards to visualize work volume and status
Assist in preparing executive updates
Tools, Intake & Governance
Manage intake processes for marketing requests
Maintain documentation of roles, workflows, and governance models
Onboard new team members
Budget & Financial Management
Coordinate the marketing budget and track spending
Support funding requests and ensure compliance
Prioritize funding based on impact and strategic alignment
What You Need to Succeed
5-7 years of experience in business or marketing operations
Experience in large, matrixed organizations
Strong understanding of marketing workflows
Excellent project management and prioritization skills
Effective communication and influence capabilities
Proficiency with collaboration tools
Proactive and solutions-focused approach
Team-oriented with the ability to manage ambiguity
In California, the pay range for this position is $139,700 - $202,250
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
