Job Description

The Global Talent Management team creates the insights, strategies & practices required to unlock the full potential of our teams and talent, and ensure we have the leadership needed for the future of Visa.  This role is for a deep executive talent management expert who is passionate about building a world-class assessment and development center portfolio for our most senior leaders at Visa. It is for a leader who is motivated by high visibility work that impacts how we assess our executive pipeline and prepare them for more complex roles with intentionality. We are looking for an expert in the field of psychometric assessments who has what it takes to provide our assessment and development center participants with a transformational experience.

This role will build the narrative, processes, communications, and guidance related to our SVP Assessment & Development Centers, ensuring a holistic, integrated, and seamless assessment and career planning experience for 30 key talents in the next fiscal year. 

You’ll work directly with the Head of Talent Management and an external consultant/ advisor (who you will know as a leading expert in this space) to facilitate briefing sessions with People Business Partners and Managers on how to use the assessment data and incorporate it into career and development plans. You’ll review reports from cognitive, personality, simulation and 360 assessments, answer questions from participants, and develop presentations and summaries for executive review. You’ll also prepare us for a pilot VP Assessment program in FY25, building off of the SVP program, but finding efficiencies that will allow us to scale and include all key VP talent. 

The role reports to the VP, Global Talent Management and will be a key member of the TM Leadership team, driving one of our function’s critical long-term priorities. 

Essential Functions:

  • As a Leadership Team member on the global talent management team, help to shape the talent management strategy and roadmap.

  • Follow through with pilot SVP program participants to ensure seamless career planning with the right Visa LT and People Team engagement and integrate tracking of progress into LT talent discussions.

  • Expand our SVP Assessment and Development Program to include 30 additional SVPs in FY24 in two waves of 15.

  • Refresh our executive level 360 assessment launch to a targeted group of 100 VPs, building internal capability (of a cohort of People Business Partners and Talent Partners) to support debriefs and development planning. 

  • Prepare full suite of assessment tools (Hogan, Sim, 360 and Cognitive) for VPs and build capability to launch full VP assessment development center in FY25.

  • Work with our legal team and external consultant/advisor to build validated norms and assess readiness to leverage executive assessment suite for selection.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Experience consulting global organization in the Global Talent Management COE
  • Strong knowledge of and deep functional expertise in psychometric assessments and interpretation of reports
  • Highly analytical individual with the initiative and curios
